Need a little pick me up? Have you been allowing time to limit your progress and creativity? I know sometime's I get caught up in how society views success. Alot of that is built around time. Time is money, I'm too old to be _____, by age ___I should have kids and be married, I have to be this bc I have made it my life's work when really I want to do this, etc. Well I know I struggle and one of the major issues for me is standing in my own way of success. Our biggest issue in life is our fear. If we can conquer that then everything you ever desired will and can be achieved I believe that w/o a doubt. Everything has to be done just so and to some extent I get it bc I am a perfectionist. If you stay inside your box and let fear or obscurity take hold based off of your own assumptions you will get absolutely nothing done or if you do it won;t matter because no one know's it. Then when you look back all you will have is regret. God has a plan for all of us and I am not saying that your plans won't come to past until your 94 I am just saying you are what you make your life to be. If you want it to happen now then make it happen if you want to perfect your craft your whole life or keep your hidden talents hidden then that is exactly what will be. Carmen Herrera is a 94 year old success story who was once an obscure artist and is now a historical figure in art discovered at age 89 she has been exhibited in MOMA, The Museum of Modern Art, Hirshorn Museum, Tate Modern, and the list continues to grow. You can read more about her in the NY Times . This is all about doing what you love and letting the chips fall where they may. Cheers to Carmen!

I love when tracks go right. Very creative...I would wear the grey piece and pimp it hard! London College of Fashion MA graduate Nelson Lo Ting Hei created these pieces based off of the muscular sculpture of the inside of the body. Luv's it! Big up's to thecoveted.com!
The BKC is having another great party in celebration of the holidays and the year. I love these dapper men and women running the circus. They have continually impressed me with the belief that if you put quality as your foundation everything else will flourish and thrive. I have been following since I was in college and they have grown there brand from a small establishment in BK to a worldwide brand that seems to be getting noticed across the fashion world and beyond. Thumbs up to the bearded man! This is the way you run a buisness! If your in town party on with Brooklyn Circus on Saturday they always throw the BEST parties!!! Gotta love em!
