Fast approaching is end of times due to man's careless behavior. So to prep us for the unforgiving weather and nomadic lifestyle we will soon have to lead I introduce you to our possible new home.
Designed by Mario Pitsch this cross-country RV includes systems to grow food, produce water and energy for everyday use. Featuring solar panels to produce electricity, the sustainable vehicle ensnares moisture or mist to produce water from the air for drinking and other use. Accommodating a small family of four members in comfort, the Nomad RV concept also includes a greenhouse with algae reactor and a foil-shell, which is not only easy to maintain but also ensures a sustainable lifestyle. Sweet! Makes the end that much more comfortable!

Another short film :). I just happen to love this because the questions asked in this film are very simple but it really gives an example of many of the differences and similarities with in any culture and color whether African, American, European, etc. It is our humanity that leads are thoughts wherever we grow up and brings us closer as a global world.

My heart has broken into a million pieces today. I am not supposed to be blogging right now but I have to. I was alerted by a friend this morning that one of my favorite designer's of all time has committed suicide. If you follow this man like I have followed this man's journey you would be in tears too. I have been inspired by him for many years. He just seemed so real. He always let his work speak for him so you never really knew what his personal life was like. One of the greatest designers that have ever lived. Here is a little info on him and some of his beautiful works.
P.S Please be responsible... the world is hard but we as creative people must battle through it and come out triumphant. You can let it control you or you can take control, be great, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Once you get to the top it can be lonely find comfort in knowing and loving yourself and god and you will never loose that control over your life. I am sorry that life got the best of such an amazingly talented being but you will live on through the inspiration you have built in the mind's and hearts of others. I will always state Alexander McQueen as a major creative mind, contributor of innovative fashion, and a conqueror of dreams. One of the world's amazing people lost to life's toils and snares. Everything is not alway's what it seems people so live your life to the absolute fullest because you only have one.
Born in the East End and the son of a taxi driver, McQueen got his training in tailoring in Savile Row, eventually making suits for Prince Charles, and won the distinction of being named British designer of the year four times between 1996 and 2003.He went on to be awarded the CBE, as well as being named International Designer of the Year at the Council of Fashion Designer Awards.McQueen became the 'enfant terrible' of the fashion world after he was famously discovered by Isabella Blow, who was fashion director of Tatler. She bought all the clothes he made for his graduate show for £5,000 and they were delivered to her in black binliners.Miss Blow killed herself in May 2007 after taking an overdose of weed killer after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She had attempted suicide several times by then.McQueen was so distraught by Isabella’s death that he dedicated his spring summer 2008 show at Paris fashion week to his late friend.
Born Lee Alexander McQueen, the designer was the youngest of six children.
Openly gay, McQueen -
who once described himself as the 'pink sheep of the family' - left school at
16 and went to work at Savile Row’s Anderson & Sheppard, whose clients
included Prince Charles and Mikhail Gorbachev, after he saw a television
program about the apprentice shortage in traditional tailoring.
He went on to work for
Gieves & Hawkes, theatre’s famous Angels & Bermans costumiers, and then
worked in Japan and Italy.
He returned to London in
1994, hoping to work as a pattern cutter tutor at London’s prestigious Central
Saint Martins fashion school. Thanks to the strength of his portfolio he was
persuaded to enroll in the course himself.
After graduating McQueen set up his own label based in the East End of London. With the launch of his 'bumsters' trousers with a waistband so low that the buttocks are revealed, McQueen made his label famous through tabloid headlines. He went on to be named head designer at Givenchy in 1996, succeeding John Galliano, before joining forces with Gucci, who bought 51 per cent of his company.
I know it's not the most cohesive pictures I could have chosen but I had to post his versatility and different seasons for you guys who don't know him so you can become inspired. Dream on Dreamers! There is always a brighter day:(.

Hello my TALKF.A.M.ERS!!! So I am sure by now you have been thinking this girl only talks about certain type's of art, some fashion, and some music. What happened to the interviews, and the well rounded performing arts scene? What is really good w/ reppin for all the arts right?! Well look! It has been a bumpy damn road. I'm misses solo dolo guys! You gotta give me a chance to get my bearings but I am coming so keep checking for me and leaving your comments. The more support, the more posts, the more variety! I love all the support I am receiving and I am pushing on. In the meantime I will post two to three short films for you to enjoy per week. Right now we will start off with a glimpse into the future. I found that even tho this is far from me it hit home in a major way. Global warming is fast approaching and along with that truth comes all the repercussions for how we have treated our earth. This film is about the first climate change refugees. Yes not war, not famine, but climate change....Man we are screwed if we don't start to make real changes. I mean just check the weird weather around the world. No Bueno!
Film directed By Jennifer Redfearn and Tim Metzger, Produced By Jennifer Redfearn and Tim Metzger.

Designed by mexican designer Sergio Luna. The Michelin Concept runs on the wheels made by cylinders of recycled tire compressed and arranged into a body, which further jostles the cylinder down with the help of compressed for suspension effect, allowing better contact of the tires with the floor. Moreover, the windshield of the car alters, from crystal to matte, to provide better vision during rain, fog or night drives. The 2028 One provides a smart transportation to overcome the energy, parking, pollution and traffic problems of the future metropolis. Look it's cool looking and a smooth ass concept but I am pretty sure in an accident you die. There is probably no second chance. It's run by a joystick..hmmm.. the way people play video games all reckless...Grand Theft Auto 2028...hmmm...just saying:/.

The Destruction in Haiti is beyond repair and relief for many families. I got home late that nite and found out because I was working all day. I was devastated for the people and I felt much like when Katrina hit...depressed and helpless. I woke the next morning picked up the times and read on the updates. I cried. I cried all the way to Grand Central. Yesterday I was coming back from lunch with a good friend of mine. He is very cool with Wyclef and has been for some years. He is part of helping out Wyclef's organization YELE Haiti and told me he would be interested in selling tees at the event at Santos next week so that 100% of the proceeds will go to Haiti. I walked passed the Haitian security guard as he sat there limp and in tears quietly sobbing and I went upstairs and looked up Wyclef's organization to find out more. If you are wondering where your money should go YELE Haiti is definitely the place. Please text yele to 501501 to donate 5$! This is a very legitimate charity! If this is all you can do believe me it is huge! It will show on your next phone bill. For more information on this organization you can go to http://www.yele.org/. These are very trying times but we all must remember even we it is really hard to that God is Love people.
Peace and Prayer.

Hey people! Miss M.I.A here. I know I haven't touched base in the past few days. Hang in there because I got lots of inspiration coming your way. It has been pretty hectic what w/ my new job, working on this portfolio, my jewelry line, and natural disaster's causing havoc and trauma in Haiti. I have decided to get behind my girl Rap ( repping for the eargasm.com and the stadium) if you don't know look her up for a shoe/clothes drive that will be held at the very popular Santo's party house in NYC next friday so forgive me for the delay in post. I will be back on my reg's very soon though. I wanted to present you with a classic throwback promo vid for movie made in the 90's that is a must see. My ex introduced me to this a year ago and it really had me thinking life can really be a bitch sometimes when you are careless. So please when you have downtime check this movie and spread the word because in our generation where casual sex is the norm it will make you really think about how you value your life, relationships, and your body. Yes these are teens but adults do dumb shit like this all the time too. Still very powerful till this day. Oh and you can see a pubescent Rosario Dawson;). Directed by Larry Clark.

There are not many artist that move me like this chicken. There are not many artist that I long to hear daily. That I need to help move me when I need it most. That know my woe's inside and out. Lauryn Hill's music speaks to me like that. I wish that she wasn't so unstable because of life's toils and snare's but sometimes when brilliance is tainted that is exactly what happens. I will say that I will never stop supporting such an amazing talent so don't you all either! There is always hope for a new beginning. Come back to us Lauryn the music game needs you! Till then here is one of my favorite songs out of one of my favorite performances done by her. Enjoy and remember live and let live! Happy Sunday!!
